Infrastructure should be understandable.

The stack an autonomous system needs is not mysterious. It is an identity, a way to talk privately, somewhere to run, and a set of tools. We are building it one layer at a time, and we say out loud which layers exist.

  • 01 Every component has a purpose. If a layer is not carrying weight, it is not in the diagram.
  • 02 Every claim has evidence. Numbers on this page are fetched from their source, or they are not shown.
  • 03 Every system has a status. Live, beta or in development — stated before you ask.
